About the program:
UC Berkeley is pleased to announce that the April 6-10, 2014 Global Health Leadership Forum will be held in conjunction with the Healthcare Leadership College in Singapore. Leaders from around the globe will meet and participate in the April session; some participants will be attending this session as the Part II and will be graduating from the GHLF will an earned certificate from UC Berkeley. This session is also open to those who wish to join the GHLF and this will be their Part I - space is limited so we encourage you to apply early if you wish to join us for this Singapore session. As stated in the program description, GHLF is a two--part program and may be taken in any order.

Our focus:
proven solutions and promising innovations in the health policy, management and technology for issues that countries share in common. It shows the wide range of important topics being covered, for example, public private partnerships(including brand new study on success and failure factors in Australia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand), new frontiers in how to coordinate care and manage the health of a given population, how to forecast workforce and address shortages, alternative designs for achieving universal coverage, field trip to an innovative medical center, etc.
There are discount levels for two and three from the same country and if needed, a few partial scholarships will be awarded this week.
The GHLF Team:
Singapore's Healthcare Leadership College is part of MOH Holdings and is our partnering organization putting on GHLF Asia. Dr. Aymeric Lim is the Dean (also chairman of the medical board at National University Hospital). Dr Jason Cheah is also on the GHLF team,Singapore's CEO of the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC.)
On the UC Berkeley program, you have me as GHLF Director-- (a health care executive for 40 years including Director of Strategic planning and product development for Kaiser Permanente) --and now part of UC Berkeley's School of Public Health, Professor Richard Scheffler, Distinguished Professor of Health Economics and Public Policy and Steve Shortell, immediate past Dean SPH and Distinguished Professor of Health Policy and Management. Both of the UC Berkeley professors will be in Singapore giving sessions and interacting the whole week with the healthcare leaders who are participating. Sir Richard Feachem and Dr James Rice are both faculty advisers to GHLF and regular speakers.附件
