  Thank you for your interest in the 7th annual Yale summer internship in biomedical research, which will be held from June 1st to July 28th 2013. This unique opportunity provides undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral trainees hands-on laboratory experience at one of the world’s premiere research institutions.

  Participants in the ITC-GIDR Program receive the following:

  1.    A closely monitored 8 week research training experience under the mentorship of a Yale faculty mentor

  2.    Necessary research supplies and reagents

  3.    Weekly seminar on research and career advice taught by Yale faculty and staff

  4.    Participation in summer courses offered through the Yale graduate programs

  5.    Opportunity to present your findings at the annual ITC-GIDR summer research symposium

  6.    Housing in one of the Yale residential colleges, located in the center of campus

  7.    Full meal plan (14 meals/week) provided by the Yale residential college dining hall

  8.    Welcome and closing receptions, as well as other social events
