加拿大UBC暑期项目通知

KU游体育与加拿大The University of British Columbia(英属哥伦比亚大学UBC)合作,开展了一系列的合作项目。UBC暑期项目于2014年开始展开,到目前为止已有两届北医学生参加此项目。2016UBC暑期项目现已开始申报,共分两个时段,学生可以选择任一时段中的一个Package报名。项目具体信息如下,感兴趣的同学可参考附件和下面的网页,自行申报。

国合处致力于给学生创造更多的交流机会。2016年新学期开学时,国合处会联合教育处一起公布一批2016年度的交流项目,请同学们届时关注。

University of British Columbia’s upcoming Vancouver Summer Program (VSP) will help students develop skills essential for their success in future healthcare and/or health research careers, will improve their English skills, and get a taste of Canadian society, culture, and education style, meeting fellow students from Canada and around the world.

COHORT I:

Course Dates: June 4 – July 5, 2016

Registration Deadline: February 29, 2015

Cost:$4500 Canadian dollars (includes tuition, course materials, accommodations, medical insurance, airport transfer, city tour, orientation and farewell events, some social activities)

Course Packages offered June 4 – July 5, 2016:

  • Package A: Clinical Research and Clinical Medicine
  • Package B: Pharmacology and Critical Analysis in Medicine and Science
  • Package C: Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy
  • Package D: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Human Health, Disease, and the Environment
  • Package E: Neuropsychopharmacology and Neuropsychiatry
  • Package F: Major Mental Illness and Psychotherapy
  • Package H: Introduction to Population and Public Health

 

COHORT II:

Course Dates: July 16 – August 16, 2016

Registration Deadline: March 31, 2015

Cost:$4500 Canadian dollars (includes tuition, course materials, accommodations, medical insurance, airport transfer, city tour, orientation and farewell events, some social activities)

Course Packages offered July 16-August 16, 2016:

  • Package A: Clinical Research and Clinical Medicine
  • Package B: Pharmacology and Critical Analysis in Medicine and Science
  • Package C: Medical Imaging and Anesthesiology
  • Package D: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Human Health, Disease, and the Environment
  • Package E: Neuroscience and Clinical Neuropsychiatry
  • Package F: Major Mental Illness and Psychotherapy
  • Package H: Introduction to Population and Public Health
  • Package I: Understanding the Recovery and Treatment from Injury and Chronic Disease
  • Package J: Medical Laboratory Science
  • Package K: Anatomical Sciences

Participants must be proficient in English (all classes will be taught in English) and have a strong academic background.

Many course packages have a minimum and maximum class size. Course packages that do not have the minimum number of students will not be offered, but students may transfer to other packages.
